This should be the tale of my thirtieth year.

Humdinger

Up and out as quick as possible this morning. (Not very, in other words)

Went to Modesto and looked at possible office buildings for Poppy.

Got to S & B's and nearly got teary upon seeing A-man. He grew so much in a week! He is doing this new, and totally adorable, new face crinkle smile thing! I am really trying to get it on film (or pixels), but so far nothing but fuzz.

Work hard on Mammy's present. Got enough done to show her, and I think she really likes it. Now, I just have to finish!

Something came up today that has my brain in a bit of a tumble. It is kind of like this. Let's say a race car driver had driven several Fords, and those Fords had consistently had trouble to the point of almost killing him a few times. He swears off Fords, all Fords, forever. Several years later, someone comes to him with a redesigned Ford. By all accounts, this Ford has nothing to do with the other Fords, and its specs look good. Should the driver take this Ford for a test drive?

Talk to me people, 'cause someone just offered me a test drive.

A. I want DETAILS

B. if you are referring to the ambiguous twin voicemail I got last night = why the hell not? All cars are different. Just because an escort or two got you down, don't pass up a good deal on an explorer.

C. I know I've been looking at volvos

... and furthermore...

D. You have to look at this new and improved Ford and ask yourself if you have changed enough to seek/attract a different kind of ford. Even an Acura (such as ourselves) might have failed you then. Times (and we) have changed. Are you looking at the cars any differently? Or are you looking for the same old crap-o-matics? Do I need to start collecting dead things?

E. No really. I'll stuff possum up its tail pipes if you want me to. Seriously. I have a cafein headache and I'm lookin for trouble.
