This should be the tale of my thirtieth year.

Walks, Naps, and Strays.

Someone woke me up this morning by saying, "Hop, Hop, Hop." and waving a bunny in my face. I, of course, rolled over and went back to sleep, then someone's Daddy woke me up with the hideous noise that emanates from "mining operation" toy.

Breakfast and playing with the babies, then lazing. A-man, Homie K, Mammy and I stayed behind while the rest took a walk around "the neighborhood". I went to go get them about an hour later. The were a few brief moments of panic when I couldn't find them. I retraced their steps (in the car) and finally caught up with them. WHEW! At least I got to see things I haven't seen before. WHAT VIEWS!

Homie K was dutifully trying to help watch Homie A, but was in great need of some sleep. We packed her off to bed. Poppy had already retired. I think through out the rest of the afternoon/evening, we all managed to get a little nap in.

We walked the babies up to the mailbox, and a very adorable kitty followed us home. He looks well, but seems to be a stray. Despite some vigorous debate, he is now curled up in our mudroom, fed and watered. We have been informed, "HE MUST BE OUT OF HERE BY MONDAY." We will do our best to find his people or a new place.

Hope everyone is well, and having a great post-turkey day!
