This should be the tale of my thirtieth year.

Where'd my sun go?

Well, yesterday was crazy and I forgot to take pictures and make an entry. I had a long day, and then had my first appointment with a local chiropractor. This fella does the kind of stuff that the lady at Mom's does. Lots of neurological testing, etc. He seems to think that I have some long term temporal lobe disfunction that has affected my limbic system.

He found that my cognitive abilities increased significantly if he shined small amounts of red light into my left eye. Cool, huh? He gave me some stuff to do at home.

Three bus/train rides and a lengthy stop to get some take out and it was almost 9:00 by the time I got home. I was pooped, and proceeded to STUFF myself.

This morning I had good intentions, but got a slow start. The glorious sun had disappeared. I did a bit of laundry, then rested a bit. I finally got off my hiney around noon and went to the Conservatory of Flowers, which I had never been to. It was a good walk, and though the place was small it had some very nice plants. They had a small, but interesting exhibit on medicinal plants. I realized two interesting things: 1)The information about the curare plant they had did not mention it could be used to induce paralysis and death. 2)Though many plants said they could be used as abortatives, the glossary of terms available at the beginning of the exhibit did not explain what that meant.

After that I walked back and picked up a red lightbulb for my exercises, and finally found some pepper spray.
