Sixteen days!!

I can, and yet cannot, believe I haven't posted in SIXTEEN days. I just felt very, very busy before I left SF, and have been having fun while in K-ville.

Before I left I was feeling very motivated to make the business take off and to work on some of my philanthropic efforts. I have decided to do the Komen Breast cancer walk in September. I feel like I have a better idea of where their money goes. Be prepared to be solicited. I just keep being slapped in the face by stories of people having cancer, so I must now take action.

I also have a list of things to make happen for work when I return. I am prepping a spread sheet of my "roles" and what I need to do for each role. Very Franklin Covey.

When I got to K-ville I was so excited. I have kept inhaling the smell, and just love driving around with the windows down (and the moon roof in Jillo's COOL, NEW car open) at night with the warm breeze blowing by.)

The wedding for Texas Pete and his Hot Mama was good, and I'm SO glad I got to go to it. I felt very awkward being in a crowd of their families, and was always completely relieved when "the boys" would show up! It was most excellent to see Fred. I miss our interaction.

I also saw Asue and Ual. I am mad that all that fell apart years ago. I adore and love them, and wish they were a much more regular part of our lives.

I think in some ways all my thinking is boiling down to this: I am an almost 31 year old woman. It is high time I took control of myself and become the person I know I can be. So there. ;-)
