Back.
Well, due to techno difficulties I took some time off. It was actually kind of liberating. I don't think you missed much. I have a post from the 27th which I will include in this. I had fun up at Mammy and Pappy's. We got everything tidied up, and I managed to squeeze in some episodes of Little House on the Prairie. There was one episode where I recognized most of the locations...they are just up the highway from us. It really got me to thinking about the path of my life. When I was five or six and watching that episode, I never could have dreamt that I would live right down the street.
In two weeks I had three dreams about Texas Pete and his Hot Mama. They were all very vivid and packed with emotion. I miss them both, but I also think my mind is doing some comparison with Mr. Urbane.
We also went to ASIASF for some Drag Queen Fun for Ms. Catpeople's birthday. It was a hoot and the food was great, and the bartender was umm, umm, good. After, we went to the Happy Cow. It was fun, but made me feel a tad old.
Oh, one other thing...we took Homie A for her first sledding experience. It was so fun, and she had a great time!
I will put up some pics I took during my down time.
Here's the entry from the 27th:
I was just getting ready to put up my entry for the day when the network, or the satellite went kaput. Today was another good day with all the people. We woke up to dense fog, and howling winds (literally). We decided it was NOT a good day to go running about , so we had a leisurely breakfast, and then puttered around. S made some nice Lost Kitty posters and she and Poppy went to town to put them up and various points between here and there. The rest of us kept saying that we were going to watch a movie, but instead we played with the kids, played some cards, and Homie K and I made origami cranes (my first ever) for her Xmas tree. It was fun, but I think it gave me neck and shoulder tension from concentrating so hard. They do look super cool!
About ten minutes after S and Poppy left the phone rang. Did you put this poster up hes my cat. It turns out a nice young man had been looking for his sweet cat, Tom, for almost a week. Tom is now home safe, sound, and warm.
Made quiche and help Homie K make Pear Panna Cotta with chocolate sauce for dessert. Played some board games before bed, but they were less enthusiastic as last night due to reduced energy and increased booze consumption.
Must sleep now will post this and picture tomorrow.
