Pretty pooped.
Tired that is. Lots of great antique hunting and other retail therapy.
Good leaves and a lightning storm tonight!
Saw the puppet movie...the panthers were, by far, the best part!

Retail-o-rama.
Jillo and I did some of the things we do best today. Ate yummy food, giggled, and went shopping. Found some kid goodies, checked out some clothes, and looked at some of Indy's finest antiques.
We went to Trader Ho-Hos. She bet me a dollar that I wouldn't use the tiny "Shopper in Training" cart. That was one of the easiest dollars I've made.
Met up with Jim, and he found some more vintage engineering tools. Fancy.
Am searching for a nice box to add to Mr. Urbane's collection. Had a most amusing IM conversation with him last evening.
Up and at it again tomorrow. Promise to take some pictures of the fall colors.

Not much more than four.
Years old that is. At least that's how I feel sometimes. Been manic...hehe.
Had mucho fun fun today playing with Jillo. Had silver dollar pancakes, and socially friendly shopping. Caught up with J-bob in lovely downtown Indy. Enjoyable dinner, and COFFEE. Having COFFEE with my peeps! And LOTS of giggling.
Had some weird dream last night. YAY jet lag!
Ever had those times when it seems like no one is responding to your emails?

Arriving on a jetplane
I'm HERE!!! I'm getting love...I'm giving love. It's awesome.
The plane rides were cool...just a little slow. Lots of good time to read, think, and feel unobligated...time for stuff to sink in.
Felt connected.
Need to tell Mr. Urbane I think I'm around for a reason and yet feel intimidated.
SO good!!
Funny...we three long lost folk sitting on the couch, each lap holding a laptop.

Leaving on a jetplane.
It rain, rain, rained today. Poppy says he can see snow on the peaks in the distance.
Everything I did today seemed to move in slow motion, but I am finally packed. I am so excited, and probably SO overpacked!
Played with A-man quite a bit. He got crabby towards the end of the day, and for some reason got REALLY upset when he squirted himself while I had his diaper off....poor guy.
It is hard to have a guilty pleasure when everyone around you talks about how awful it is.
Nighty night. See you at 35,000 feet.

Out and about.
Out to the city today. I was really great to hang with the Homie Gang!
Packing etc. tomorrow! ;-)

Fast Cars
First, to respond to your comments;
1. I love what a good caffeine headache can inspire one to do, but let's hope no stuffing of dead animals will be necessary!
2. I will rephrase my statement. I saw an add in the paper (and , yes Jillo, it was about twins). That ad held my interest, and even the fine print has got me wanting to take a test drive. Let's hope it turns out to be a Saleen.
3. Jillo! I want one too! That thing was permitted as residential. If you bought the right lot, you could have a really nice (but not huge) house in CA for $80,000 finished. (What you saw pictured was about $36,000 unfinished)
Ok, so today, the fellas and I were up really early, and headed to Laguna Seca. Watching all those cars was fun. I was even on cable TV (only the size of a few pixels, but still). It would be so great to be support for a driver...really wish B-dawg would pursue it! The Cat People came and it was groovy.
There were lots of great BMW's, TSX's, some LOUD Cadillacs, and even a Volvo, oh and TONS of Miatas. The only bad thing were the Porta-Potties...BAD flashbacks of Florida. ;-)
