This should be the tale of my thirtieth year.

See!

Snow on big trees.

Ships passing on the highway.

Woke up to a little more snow, that helped replace the stuff which melted. The Bayers needed to get back so they packed up and hit the road. Soon after they left, Uncle P showed up.

The weather was iffy, but cleared up a bit in the afternoon. We hauled Uncle P up the hill and around town a bit. SNOW! Some cars had a foot of snow on their tops!

Had some good phone calls today from Bodie friends and Vermont friends.

B-dawg demonstrates interesting sled technique.

Granddad says, "Let's go again!"

Flying Pop Pop.

Grandmama and Nana.

S and A-man giggle in the snow.

First things first.

I wrote this last night, but due to technical difficulties (i.e. snow on the satellite dish.) could not be posted...

I'm having a When Harry Met Sally Moment, except "the one" ain't gonna show up at Mammy's and plant a big smooch on me.

Ah New Year's.

Feeling a bit stressed about the future. Had fun sledding in the driveway with everyone today! Yep, I said sledding! We had some fast melting, wet snow. Sometime soon, it would be nice to get beyond the driveway.

I want the world to be a good place, and I want everyone to be happy and healthy.

So far I have no resolutions, other than to get through the next month.

I love you all. :-)

Crooked.

Sleepy.

Cake and the birthday boy.

Out of focus.

YAY!! Everyone is here on the mountain, safe and sound, hiding out from the blusters and the blowing, cold rain.

Mammy and I spent the day cleaning the the house, getting showered, and I baked B-dawgs belated birthday cake. I think the cake was well received, for which I'm glad.

A-man was very happy to be here, and played and ran around.

Still no snow.

Love to all.

Mammy at the city hall.

Homie A's new play house.

Burr-rrr-rrr

Mammy and I hid out in the city for a couple of days. It rained much of the time, and we got wet and cold and had our plans cut a bit short. That being said, we had fun. We rested in the Homies apt, and got a chance to look at the place downstairs. I dragged her to the health department and we both got a shock when they said it is gonna cost me ANOTHER $250 to get this party started.

Today we had a brief visit with the WC Gang. They are doing the We're-gonna-sell-our-house-shuffle. All was well and we got some baby cuddles.

We arrived back at the hill to find howling winds, no snow, and a thermostat error that left us with a forty-four degree house. The heaters, fires, etc. are now cranked.

A-man shows off his superior wrestling moves.

Heart full, heart empty.

1. Jillo, where the heck was that Krystal? Makes me realize how little advantage I took for my former home land. Glad you are staying put and avoiding the snow...sorry to hear J-bob is struggling with choosing.

2. Today was all about the girls and spending money...a December 26th first for us. I got a quilt, as I have inherited a blanket addiction from my Mammy.

3. It was hard to put Poppy on a plane to TN at 5:00 AM this morning.

4. I made me very happy to see and play with A-man today.

5. It is pouring down here tonight...maybe snowing up the mountain.

6. It makes me feel terrible to hear about the tsunami and its devastation!
