This should be the tale of my thirtieth year.

Just the beginning.

Eyes.

I slept. I woke up and took care of A-man. We had some diaper application wrestling, and then ate our breakfast. He then proceeded to run around the house after me, as I packed.

The city was good and frenetic. I have finished the last of the inspections. I picked up the keys to the apartment. I chased off a headache. I navigated traffic.

I drove to the mountains to see my wondermous Mammy and collect my infinite belongings. I had a lot of time to think.

1. I don't like thinking about sick babies.
2. It is odd to me that I have lost contact, not just with some people, but with their essence as I knew it.
3. I have great friends.

The pictures are gonna post on the wrong day...sorry...blame it on the packing.

...their hineys on my little ladies.

People will be putting...

I'm soooo tired...my mind is on the brink.

Two nights of baby cough/crying inspired insomnia. And I'm not even the parents.

Health Dept. inspection seemed to go fine and dandy. Visited with the homies. Gosh, everyone is sick. Did some shopping.

Had dinner with Mr Urbane. We're all just a bunch of lead bricks.

Hope, pray, sacrifice small critters, and maybe this will be the future workplace of your's truly.

It is in a Tully's Coffee, but it sure looks like it could use a U with it.

HEY! That T looks familiar.

A combo of Thai iced tea, a sick and crying baby, and general anxiety reduced my sleep to very little last night. Got to early calls from inspectors. Some eggs and toast, and I was off to the city.

First, I stopped in at the Home Despot to look at some fencing. I messed up my return to the freeway, but soon set myself straight.

I went to Clement street and viewed some fabric to recover the old maple chairs. I then proceeded downtown and rolled my eyes at all the over dressed infants and their silly mothers at Union Square.

I had a few meditative moments in my soon to be office (knock on wood), and then met the fire inspector. He took one look and said, "This is it?". Voila. Let's hope the Health Dept. inspection goes as smoothly. It was good to have a look around, and take stock of all that needs to be done.

I then retreated to some retail time. I picked up some items for both home and office. I sure hope it all pays off.

Having pangs for my people....big ones!

There is glass.

Dragons are dogs.

Or so A-man seems to think. He pointed to a dragon today and started panting, which is his way of saying "dog".

Today has been the search for the right software to run the biz. I need to write a spec sheet.

Also, Poppy came into town to catch a flight out, so he and A-man went and got haircuts together. The lady at Supercuts was fast, and made the boys some short hair.

When we went to the airport A-man had a good time watching all the cars make their way under the crosswalk between the garage and the terminals.

He was very sleepy (having had a short nap) and yet we took him out for Thai, and he was very good.

One box at a time.

Pack, pack, pack.

Last night (ur, make that this morning) I had a bad dream. It started out OK. Ms. Cgrace and I were sharing a 70's palace. Then it got weird. We were headed home from a long day at work. We were on a ferry. Cgrace wouldn't sit with me. I'm not sure why, but she wasn't lovin' me. She even got off at a different stop. Then I was getting on the train, and realized I had left my backpack (with my laptop in it).

After waking up it was all about playing with A-man and packing. Woohoo.

Must make phone calls.
