Sorry, been slacking again.
Poppy came home, YAY! Poor guy has been fighting of the germ-mans. On Sat. we all came down to the city so he could see the apartment, neighborhood, etc. We walked up to Grandview while A-man and B-dawg took a nap (B-dawg is also fighting the Germ-mans).
Had fun playing with A-man at S & B's. Poppy went home Sunday afternoon, and Mammy and I returned to finish our paperwork, and to wait for the green light at work.
We have sequestered ourselves (helped out by the rain) and finished our paperwork. Today at 4:15 we got the green light call! Tonight we bought paint, etc. Tomorrow we take a check and I put my John Hancock on some paper. I think I have been at this process for eight months now. Even if I had pushed the process into the uncomfortable rhelm, I still think it would have been six months, at the shortest. I feel somewhat elated that it is finally happening, also very thankful, and slightly scared.
Monday evening Mammy and I had pizza with Mr. Urbane and had the dime tour of his home. It all seemed very strange to me, especially as Mammy went poking around in the cabinets of someone I barely know. She was later described as, "a nice lady", so it must have not been too bad. It occured to me later the poor guy spent "v-day" with us. I hope we are better company than I think we are.
I took a lot of tiny movies with the camera this weekend and filled my card. I only downloaded tonight, so sorry...no pics of the rain, etc.
