This should be the tale of my thirtieth year.

Yo.

Yesterday was cool (except the camera's electricity was kaput). I got the "Now" message and sent out some communication.

I also had lunch with Ms. Schmeebot and her friend from the ether, Mr. Slide. It was good stuff. I think it is easier to meet new people in small groups when no one has met anyone else before.

In the evening Mammy and I made dinner (yummy dinner) for the Homie's. Afterwards we watched Breakfast at Tiffany's. I've seen it a zillion times, but last night I noticed things I hadn't before.

Today we did paperwork and then headed to the airport to pick up Poppy, who is FINALLY home! It is so good to have him back, and also to play with A-man again.

I am very mad that my phone does not seem to accept photo text messages...today I missed a nice photo of a HUGE Toledo scale that Mr. Urbane had heaved onto his front porch.

Mammy and I got Mexican tonight (she's been staying with me for the last week).

Mr. Urbane avoids skin cancer.

The Homies...we went to Chinese New Year and plant sale at the park.

The kind of thing I can find in the backyard.

Ms. Schmeebot.

Crazy, crazy.

Ok, as of this morning, I have DSL! I should finally have regular internet connection, and be able to post more regularly.

Everything has been really nutty. I have been running around getting items for the apartment (things like bowls, a water filter, etc.). I have been trying to explore my environment. I have been trying not to sleep in too late. I have been trying to get the business started.

I finally met Ms. Schmeebot, and she couldn't be cuter! We are supposed to meet again for lunch tomorrow. Mr. Urbane and I tried breakfast last Friday. I have decided (if he's still speaking to me) that we aren't having weekday breakfasts together anymore, as he was all stressed out about work. I also went with him, to what we both thought would be antique mecca on Sunday, but wasn't. It was still super nice to get up so early and take a drive with the top down. However, on the way back I said something which might make him quit speaking to me...we'll see.

I hope you like the pictures. I also hope you are all well, and will keep being my friends even though I haven't called any of you. Oh, and I will take apartment pictures as soon as it is clean and straight.
